Karnataka High Court 2019 Jobs Recruitment. KHC has released official notification for the job openings of District Judge vacancies. Check the eligibility and notification prior to apply for the positions.

Other Qualification Details :-  

1. Scale of Pay : Rs.51550-1230-58930-1380-63070.
2. Qualification :
(i) Must be holder of a degree in Law granted by a University established by Law in India;
(ii) Must be practicing as an Advocate in the High Court or in a Subordinate Court on the last date fixed for receipt of applications and must have so practiced for a period not less than Seven years as on such date.
3. Probation : A candidate selected will be initially on probation for two years or for extended period, if necessary and he/she must undergo such training as may be specified by the High Court.

Age: 45 years

Application Fee :-  

(i) Preliminary Examination Fee : The Candidate shall remit an amount of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only). But, in the case of candidate belonging to SC/ST/Category-I, the fee payable shall be Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only). (ii) Main Examination Fee : Shall be payable by each candidate who is successful in the Preliminary Examination and eligible to appear for the Main Examination immediately within 15 (Fifteen) days from the date of announcing the result of the Preliminary Examination, failing which, their candidature will not be considered for Main Examination. The candidate shall remit an amount of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only). But, in the case of candidate belonging to SC/ST/Category-I, the fee payable shall be Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only). Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances. Those candidates called for Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Viva-Voce will have to appear for the same at their own cost.

Selection Procedure :-  

1. The list of eligible applicants for Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Viva-voce will be announced on High Court of Karnataka Website: www.karnatakajudiciary.kar.nic.in/recruitment.asp.
2. Intimation will be sent to the eligible applicants through SMS and Email. The list of eligible applicants for Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Vivavoce will also be notified on the High Court of Karnataka website: http://karnatakajudiciary.kar.nic.in/recruitment.asp. For downloading the Admission Card/Call letter, the applicant shall visit the above website.

Steps to Apply :-  

1. Applicant shall possess all the Original Testimonials mentioned below at the time of submitting online application and the same shall be produced along with three sets of self-attested photo copies while appearing for Viva-voce, for verification: a) Online submitted application. b) Enrolment Certificate and Identity card issued by the Bar Council. c) Practicing certificate issued by Presiding Officer of the Court where the applicant is practicing. d) SSLC or equivalent certificate showing the date of birth. e) Degree and Law Degree Marks Cards and Convocation certificates. f) Caste certificates. g) Certificates for claiming any reservation. Creamy Layer certificate, in case the applicant belongs to General Merit and claiming reservation under Rural Category. h) Two Character certificates, one from the Principal of the College or Institution in which the applicant last studied with study details and one from a respectable persons not related to the applicant but well acquainted with him/her (recently obtained). i) Certificate of release or discharge from military service, in case of Exservicemen.
2. Applicant shall scan his/her latest passport size photograph with white background (having 5 cm of length X 3.6 cm of breadth with max. size 50 kb) and signature on white paper in black ball point pen (having 2.5cm of length X 7.5 cm of breadth with max. size 25kb) in jpg format and upload the same, while submitting the Online application.  Applicant shall not upload any original or attested copies of the documents/certificates at the stage of submitting the online application.
3. While applying online application, the applicant shall ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility and other norms as mentioned above and that all the particulars furnished by him/her are correct in all respects. In case, it is detected at any stage of recruitment that applicant does not fulfill the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has suppressed/twisted or truncated any materials facts, his/her candidature will stand cancelled. If any of these shortcomings is detected even after appointment, his/her appointment shall be liable to be terminated. Furnishing of wrong, incomplete and incorrect information would not only lead to disqualification but also liable for criminal prosecution.
4. To register / submit online applications / Online SBI payment of fee through Net Banking / Credit/Debit Card and also Generation of challan: 06.11.2019 till 11.59 PM.  To remit Fee through Challan to SBI BANK: 08.11.2019 before closing of the working hours of the Bank.  To avoid last minute rush, the applicant is advised to submit the online application well in advance. The website will accept the application round the clock till 11.59 p.m. of 06.11.2019.
