Recruitment to the posts of Lecturers in different disciplines in Group-A of Odisha Lducation Service (College Branch) in Government Degree Colleges under Department of Iiigher Education.

On-line Applications are invited from the prospective candidates thlough the proforma application to be made available on Website (http:Ugpsconline.tqy.in) flom 08.02.2020 to 02.03.2020 for recruitment to 606 (six hundred six) posts Of Lecturers in different disciplines in Group-A of O.E.S. (College Branch) in Government Degree Colleges of the State under Department Of Higher Education in the scale Of pay - Cell-I of Level-IO of the pay matrix under ORSP (CT) Rules, 2019 with usual Dearness and other Allowances as admissible by the Government from time to time.

3. Qualification: A candidate should possess a Master's Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade with a 2nd Class in the Bachelor's Degree. Provided that candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes shall possess a Master's Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 50% marks or its equivalent grade with a 2nd Class in the Bachelor's Degree. NET in the concerned subject shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Lecturer for those with post-graduate degree, but the candidates having Ph.D. Degree on the concerned subjects shall be eligible and exempted from the requirement of NET.

Age: A candidate must be under 48 (forty-eight) years and above 21 (twenty one) years of age on the 1st January 2020, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January 1972 and not later than January 1999. Age relaxation shall be as per Government Rules prescribed for the purpose. The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 (five) years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/ SEBC/Women,/Ex-Serviceman and by 10 (ten) years for PWDs whose permanent disability is 40% and mole. PWDs belonging to SC/ST/

Application Fee :-

A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee Of Rs.400/- (Rupees four hundred) only. The fee paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee be adjusted or held in reserve for any other examination or recruitment. Every Lecturer on his 'her First appointment to the service shall be on probation for a period of two years from the date he/she actually joins in the post. The appointment can be terminated on one month notice from either side without assigning any reason thereof;All persons appointed under the Govement of Odisha on or after 1st January, 2005 shall not be eligible for pension as defined under sub-rule(l) of Rule-3 of the Odisha Civil Service (Pension) Rules, 1992; but shall be covered by the defined Contribution Pension Scheme in accordance with the Odisha Civil Services (Pension) Amendment Rules, 2005; Mere empanelment in the select list shall not confer any right for appointment unless the Govement is satisfied after making such enquiry as may be deemed necessary that the candidate is suitable in all respects for appointment to the service. Selection Procedure :-

Intimation Letters for the Interview to the short-listed candidates will be uploaded in the Website of OPSC well before the date of interview the fact of which will be published in the Website and News paper. The candidates are required to download their IntimationLetter%1nd-Ã…ttestation Form from the website of the Commission. No separate Intimation Letter will be sent to the candidate.

Steps to Apply :-

Candidates must go through details of the Advertisement available in the Website of OPSC before filling up online application form. Candidates must apply online through the conceed Website Of the OPSC http://opsconlipg.goy.,ip. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily be lejected. Before filling up the online application form, the candidates must go through the following documents available at OPSC portal. (i) Instruction to fill up online application. (ii) Guidelines for scanning and Uploading of Photograph, Full Signature & Left Hand Thumb Impression. Candidates are required to upload the scanned image Of latest passport size photograph along with scanned image of his/her full signature and scanned image of Left hand Thumb Impression(LTl) in the online application fonn. Uploaded photograph, specimen (full) signature and LTI must be clearly identifiable / visible, otherwise the application of the candidate is liable to be rejected by the Commission and no representation from the candidate will be entertained.
