Applications from the candidates passed out from ITI Courses are invited for engagement of Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 as amended from time to time in the Tarapur Maharashtra Site, Tarapur Atomic Power Station 1 to 4 in Palghar District, Maharashtra to make it more responsive to the needs of youth and industry.

a. Fitter - ITI in Fitter Trade
b. Turner -  ITI in Turner Trade
c. Electrician - ITI in Electrician Trade
d. Welder -   ITI in Welder Trade
e. Electronics - ITI in Electronics Trade
f. Instru.. Mechanic - ITI in Instru. Mechanic Trade
g. Refrigeration and AC Mechanic - ITI in Refrigeration and AC Mechanic Trade
h. Carpenter - ITI in Carpenter Trade
i. Plumber - ITI in Plumber Trade
j. Wireman - ITI in Wireman Trade
k. Diesel Mechanic - ITI in Diesel Mechanic Trade
l. Machinist -  ITI in Machinist Trade
m. Painter - ITI in Painter Trade
n. Mason - ITI in Mason Trade
p. Information and Communication Technology system Maint - ITI in Information and Communication Technology System Maint.

2. Period of Apprenticeship: 1 Year

3. Compensation Package: During the Apprenticeship training period stipend as per the mentioned wages will be paid under Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. 90% of the minimum wage for semi-skilled worker notified by the Govt,. of Maharashtra, if he/she had undergone 2 years ITI training course. 80% of the minimum wage for semi-skilled worker by the Govt. of Maharashtra, if he/she had undergone 1 year ITI training course.

4. Duration of Apprenticeship Training The period of Apprentice training will be for one year only.

Age: The minimum age of the applicants as on 21th January, 2020 should not be below 16 years for all candidates and maximum age upto 24 years for General/EWS candidates. Relaxation upto 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PwBD candidates would be given as per the Govt. of India Directives.

General Instructions :-

1. The cut off date for reckoning the Maximum Age Limit is the last date of submission of online application for apprenticeship training i.e. 21th January, 2020 at 1600 hrs.The minimum age of the applicants as on 21th January, 2020 should not be below 16 years for all andidates and maximum age upto 24 years for General candidates. Relaxation upto 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PwBD candidates would be given as per the Govt. of India Directives.

2. The engagement and training is strictly in compliance with the provisions of Apprentices Act, 1961 and apprenticeship Rules, 1992 and there is no obligation to provide regular Employment on completion of apprenticeship training.Candidates selected for apprenticeship will not be allowed to withdraw from training, except for reasons, which are beyond their control. The person engaged to undergo apprentice training in a designated trade shall enter into a contract of apprenticeship with NPCIL as per the Apprentice Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship rules 1992. The contract of apprenticeship shall terminate on the expiry of the period of apprenticeship training. Any premature or extension of contract of apprenticeship shall be dealt as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship rules 1992. Those who absent from traineeship are liable to refund the whole cost of their training as well as the amount received as stipend as determined by the Central Apprenticeship Advisor.

3. The following documents (original for verification and a self attested copy for record) along with the hard copy of the Online Application are required to be produced at the time of reporting for medical examination/apprenticeship training : Certificate - Date of Birth ( SSLC / SSC ) Certificate/s – SSC/HSC certificate. ITI Passed marksheets of all Semesters. Copy of the Aadhar Card Certificate - SC/ST (if applicable) Certificate - OBC (non creamy layer) (if applicable). Certificate - EWS (if applicable) Certificate - PwBD (if applicable). Conduct Certificate issued by the concerned Institution

Selection Procedure :-

Candidates will be short listed for apprenticeship training on the basis of marks obtained in their ITI standard/course in all semesters. However, preference will be given to the eligible candidates living within 16 kms. Radius of NPCIL Units for engagement of Apprentices.

Steps to Apply :-

Interested candidates are first required to register in the web portal http://apprenticeship.gov.in for enrolment as apprentices. The applications will not be accepted without registration in the above mentioned web portal. Please visit website www.npcilcareers.co.in for detailed information regarding age criteria, How to apply and General Conditions for one year apprenticeship etc. Eligible candidates have to apply online on the website www.npcilcareers.co.in. Online registration will commence from 27 th December, 2019 at 10:00 hrs. and will close on 21 st January, 2020 at 16:00 hrs. (Advertisement number: TMS/HRM/TA/2020)
