Project Senior Engineer/ Project Deputy Chief Engineer -

1. Professionals In Various Areas On Fixed Term Employment Basis For Specific Project:

2. HMT Machine Tools Limited, Ajmer, One Of The Manufacturing Units Of Hmt Machine Tools Limited, A Wholly Owned Subsidiary Of Hmt Limited (A Govt. Of India Undertaking) And A Leading Machine Tools Manufacturer, Is Looking For Qualified And Experienced Professionals For Various Requirements Purely On Fixed Term Employment Basis (Fte) On Specific Project, In Order To Complete Various In-house / External Assignments And Projects. The Tenure Will Come To An End Automatically On Completion Of Four Years From The Date Of Joining Or On Completion Of The Assignments / Projects, Whichever Is Earlier. The Detailed Requirement Is As Below:

3. Qualification: Graduate in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical or Electronics from an AICTE approved college / University.

4. Post Qualification Experience; Minimum 9 / 13 years of hands-on experience in Design and Development of machine tools. Preference will be given to candidate having relevant work experience with HMT Machine Tools Ltd. Teaching experience and Apprenticeship will not be considered.

5. Job Description: Design and Development of Machine Tools / Supervision of Design activities, coordinate and communicate with other design staff both internally and externally. Solving design issues through the use of sustainable and quality design solutions, CAD / CAM / SolidWorks Software.

6. Grade / Scale of Pay: PS-V grade /13000-350-18250 PS –VI-grade / 14500-350-18700.

Age: 50 years

Project Deputy Engineer/ Engineer -

1. Qualification: Graduate in Mechanical, Electrical / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from AICTE approved college / University.

2. Post Qualification Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on industrial experience in relevant areas in Industrial products/machine tools/engineering industry. Candidate having relevant work experience with HMT Machine Tools Ltd. will be given preference. Teaching experience and Apprenticeship will not be considered.

3. Job Description: Plan and coordinate production processes and adjust schedules as needed on daily basis. Liaise among different departments, vendors and suppliers. Develop process improvements to effectively utilize available resources to maximize production. Evaluate production activities and make recommendations for improvements.

4. Grade / Scale of Pay: PS-III grade /8600-250-14600 or PS-IV grade / 10750-300-16750

Age: Upper age limit: 35/40 years

Project Deputy Engineer -

A. Project Deputy Engineer (Engineering):

1. Qualification: Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from AICTE approved College / University.

2. Post Qualification Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on industrial experience in relevant areas in Industrial products/machine tools/engineering industry. Preference will be given to candidate having relevant work experience with HMT Machine Tools Ltd. Teaching experience and Apprenticeship will not be considered.

3. Job Description: Responsible for Engineering and Production planning activities and co-ordinate with Manufacturing in order to ensure that products meet quality standards. Review production schedules, process flows and engineering specs.

B. Project Deputy Engineer (Design):

1. Qualification: Graduate in Mechanical / Electrical and Electronics Engineering from AICTE approved college / University.

2. Post Qualification Experience: Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in machine tools design. Candidate having relevant work experience with HMT Machine Tools Ltd. will be given preference. Teaching experience and Apprenticeship will not be considered.

3. Job Description: Design and Development of Machine Tools, coordinate and communicate with other design staff, both internally and externally to assist in solving design issues through the use of sustainable and quality design solutions, CAD Software. To assist the design team in preparing computer-generated drawing packages. To take up individual projects, whenever required.

Age: 35 years

Application Fee :-

A non-refundable account payee Demand Draft for Rs.750/- for General, EWS & OBC (which includes Rs. 500/- as Application Fee and Rs. 250/- as Processing fee) drawn in favour of HMT Machine Tools Ltd., Ajmer by any Scheduled Bank payable at Ajmer is to be enclosed along with the prescribed application. No other mode of payment is acceptable. For SC/ST category, a non-refundable account payee Demand Draft for Rs.250/-only as the processing fee is to be enclosed along with the prescribed application. No fee to be paid by Persons with Disability (PwD). Application without proper Demand Draft (except PwD) will be summarily rejected. Candidates are advised to write their name and address on reverse side of Demand Draft.

General Conditions :-

1. The above requirements are purely temporary in nature and offered on fixed tenure basis. This post is not against any permanent vacancy. This placement will not entitle the candidate for any regular / permanent employment in HMT Machine Tools Ltd., in future.
2. The listed requirement / no. of vacancies are indicative and subject to change as per the requirement of the Unit and can be increased/decreased.
3. Only Indian Nationals need to apply.
4. Candidates fulfilling the above job specification as on date of advertisement only need to apply.

Selection Procedure :-

The suitability for the posts, shortlisted candidates applied for, will be made through Personal Interview. Selection will be made strictly on the basis of qualifying marks, post qualification experience and performance in the interview, in the order of merit.
